Kevin Norton is a New York–based percussionist and composer whose career spans jazz, contemporary classical, experimental, and improvised music. A longtime presence in the city’s creative music scene, he has performed and recorded with leading figures and ensembles. Kevin founded Barking Hoop Recordings, an independent label established in 1999 to document new & original music. Additionally, Kevin taught music at the Encore/Coda summer program in Maine.
