Special event: Lenore Skomal shares her biography of Lighthouse-Keeper Ida Lewis 

Join us to listen to the story of Ida Lewis through the eyes of her biographer Lenore Skomal.

ETG is thrilled to welcome Lenore to share her important biography of the woman dubbed as “the bravest woman in America,” (1842-1911) who saved countless lives as the keeper of Rhode Island Lighthouse.

Lenore just came upon ETG this summer, dropping in for a coffee and felt quite at home. After chatting with staff, we were so happy to find that she would return to our History Hub and share stories. 

Lenore's book will of course be available for sale and to be autographed.
