“The Lost Girls of Willowbrook”, a novel by Ellen Marie Wiseman, inspired by the true story of the Willowbrook School in the years before Geraldo Rivera and other journalists exposed systemic abuses of patients with developmental issues.

We will read from the novel which focuses on a teenage girl’s search for her missing twin sister, who she fears is being held against her will at Willowbrook. We’ll read and discuss excerpts from the novel. Best for ages 14 and up. A free event.
