We are excited and proud to celebrate our twenty years on Bay Street as Every Thing Goes Book Cafe and Neighborhood Stage!

It seems like a perfect time to host a marathon OPEN MIC series.

So for 4 evenings (Wednesday October 8th to Saturday October 11th), we invite you to share on our Living Stage!

You can attend any of those evenings, and sign up to participate that evening, OR you can come by the ETG Book Cafe at 208 Bay St., to sign up ahead of time during our open hours, during the whole month of September and the first week of October.

Since 2005, ETG Book Cafe has served Staten Island in significant ways. 

We've provided a welcoming cafe, a large selection of wonderful second-hand books and records, a community bulletin board, and our "neighborhood stage" where we've hosted an amazingly wide array of events.

These have included literary events (poetry readings, book release parties), open mics, musical tribute nights, local bands and individual performers, small theatre productions, parties, memorials, educational talks, seed swaps, film screenings, art receptions, craft and writing workshops, pop-up craft markets, drum circles, and more! We have endeavored to provide a comfortable oasis for our neighbors as well as for visitors from other boroughs, other states, and other countries. 

Starting on October 8th, we'll be displaying some fun memorabilia from the past 20 years. We'll also be sharing our archive of photos and videos. We do hope you will join us for the fun!
